Recently, the Poker After Dark Series has been rebooted, with PokerGO being the home of fresh High Stakes Poker Action. One of the players taking part in the first episodes is Tom Dwan, one of the best-known heroes of high-stakes poker (live or online) – and these episodes marked his return to televised poker.
The game played through the first episodes of the new Poker After Dark season has been NL Texas Hold’em – but that is about to change. In the episodes to come, the game played is going to be Pot Limit Omaha – for the first time in nearly 10 years on Poker After Dark! There are going to be three $300/$600 PLO cash game sessions with a minimum buy-in of $100,000 for those willing to take part in the game.
This poker action-packed week, named ‘PLOMG’ by PokerGO, begins Tuesday, September 26 and runs through September 28, featuring the same line-up of players in each of the three straight days.
As mentioned before, Tom Dwan is going to be one of the players taking part in PLOMG Week and is definitely one of the main reasons to watch these exciting high-stakes sessions. Another name confirmed for this line-up is Phil Galfond, one of the world’s best PLO players and a WSOP $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha bracelet winner in 2008. They are going to be joined by professional poker players Ben Lamb and Brandon Adams, who also took part in the previous PLO sessions on Poker After Dark, many years ago. The line-up is rounded out by well-known poker players Brian Rast and Isaac Haxton.
You can watch these exciting poker sessions exclusively on PokerGO, running from Tuesday, September 26 to Thursday, September 28. You can also watch past Poker After Dark episodes on-demand through PokerGO’s event replay library.
